Summer food program provides free breakfast, lunch

School's out for summer and Longview ISD's Summer Child Nutrition Program begins Monday, June 3rd, and will continue through Aug. 8th at select locations.

Longview ISD provides nutritional meals for FREE to all children 18 and under. This is part of a government program provided by the USDA to fill meal gaps for children of economically-disadvantaged families. Two meals (breakfast and lunch) are served each weekday at no cost to the families.

All children are welcome to come enjoy breakfast and lunch at any of the locations listed below.

Meals will be provided at the following locations:
 

  • Montessori Academy: May 31-June 28 (Monday - Friday)
    Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
     

  • Hudson PEP Elementary: June 3-28 (Monday - Friday)
    Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

  • J.L. Everhart Elementary: June 3-28 (Monday - Friday)
    Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

  • Forest Park Middle: June 3- 27 (Monday - Thursday)

  • Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Lunch: 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
     

  • Longview High: June 5 - Aug 3 (Monday - Friday)
    Breakfast: 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Lunch: 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

  • Grace Creek Church: June 5 - Aug 8 (Monday - Thursday)
    Lunch: 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

There will be no summer feeding during the week of Independence Day (July 1-5). Food will be provided on all other dates listed.
